PSYCH-K

What is PSYCH-K®

PSYCH-K® has been described as a modality that is a spiritual process with physiological benefits.

PSYCH-K® is the outcome of a ‘series of intuitive leaps of consciousness, which comes from years of research and thousands of sessions with individuals and groups.

It is a simple and direct way to change self -limiting beliefs at the subconscious level of mind.

Its overall purpose is the accelerate the individual by aligning subconscious beliefs with conscious wisdom from the world’s great spiritual and intellectual traditions.

The practical application of this wisdom in our personal and professional lives brings a deeper sense of peace and satisfaction, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Are you aware that your reality is created by your ‘beliefs’?

These beliefs, usually subconscious, are often the result of lifelong ‘programming’, and represent a powerful influence on human behaviour.
Studies in neuroscience indicates that at least 95% of our consciousness is subconscious.

It’s the subconscious mind that is the storehouse for our attitudes, values and beliefs.

PSYCH-K® provides a variety of ways to quickly identify and transform beliefs that ‘limit’ you into beliefs that ‘support’ you in any area of your life.

Many people harbor self-limiting subconscious beliefs in the areas of spirituality, self-esteem, health, and body issues, financial abundance, relationships or career.

Rob Williams is the originator of PSYCH-K® and he is an author of the book PSYCH-K® – The missing Piece/Peace in your life!. https://subconsciouschange.com/success-stories/supporters-and-science/rob-williams-m-a/

What is a PSYCH-K® balance?

A PSYCH-K® balance is a process designed to create a balanced identification with both hemispheres of the brain (the cerebral cortex).

This ‘whole-brained state’ is ideal for re-programming the mind with new self-enhancing beliefs, reducing, reducing unwanted stress and helping you to access your ‘full response potential’ in meeting life’s challenges.

Remember that while balancing creates potential, you create small and fun results through your actions.

For example, if you balance to become an Olympic athlete, you must still do the necessary training and physical conditioning to realize your goal.

The Balance will transform any subconscious resistance you may have to achieving the goal, so that the effort you put forward in training will produce maximum results.

Another example might be balancing for a health-related issue.

While Balancing will help reduce the stress and inner conflict that may be supporting the presence of the dis-ease in your body, it is still important to take all the appropriate physical steps to help the body to heal itself eg. Medical treatment, diet, exercise and rest.

How long does it take for a Balance to work?

The results of a Balance may be felt instantaneously or may evolve over time (hours, days, weeks or longer).

For example, if your goal is to find a new job, then transforming fear into confidence about changing jobs would be great value as you seek new employment.

However, acquiring a new job may take additional time and action, for example researching new career opportunities, writing your resume, or going to interviews.

How long does a Balance Last?

Balances seem to last until they are no longer useful to the subconscious mind or until you decide to Balance for a new goal.

Life is an evolutionary process, so what you balance for at one point in your life may be inappropriate at another time.

Without the use of Psych-K®, life itself will remind you when it is time to change some aspect of your reality.

Unfortunately, the reminder often takes the form of trauma or other emotionally charged situations in order to get your attention.

PSYCH-K® enables you to consciously direct key changes in your life with ease and flexibility.

If you find yourself re-creating behaviours or thoughts that you previously balanced to change, it is useful to ask yourself, “what benefit do I gain from the old thoughts or behaviours?”

When this question is considered openly and honestly, the result is usually very revealing.

You may wish to do another balance that considers the ‘secondary gain’ benefits’ which resulted in the manifestation of the old behaviours or situation.

How PSYCH-K® works

Your beliefs are the foundation of your personality.

  • They define you as worthy or worthless
  • Powerful or powerless
  • Competent or incompetent
  • Trusting or suspicious
  • Belonging or outcast
  • Self-reliant or dependent
  • Flexible or judgemental
  • Fairly treated or victimized
  • Loved or hated.

Your beliefs have far reaching consequences, both positive and negative, in your life.
Beliefs affect your mood, relationships, job performance, self-esteem, physical health, even your religious or spiritual outlook.

What has the brain got to do with PSYCH-K®?

A great deal of research has been conducted for decades on what has come to be called the ‘Brain Dominance Theory’ (also known as split-brain research).

The findings of this research indicate that each hemisphere of the cerebral cortex tends to specialize in and preside over different functions, process different kinds of information, and deal with different kinds of problems.

LEFT HEMISPHERE

  • Uses logic/reason
  • Thinks in words
  • Deals in parts/specifics
  • Will analyse/breaks apart
  • Thinks sequentially
  • Identifies with the individual
  • Is ordered/controlled

RIGHT HEMISPHERE

  • Uses emotions/intuition/creativity
  • Thinks in pictures
  • Deals in whole/relationship
  • Will synthesize/put together
  • Thinks simultaneously/holistically
  • Identifies with the group
  • Is spontaneous/free

While our birthright is the natural ability to simultaneously utilize both sides of the Cerebral Cortex, life’s experiences often trigger a dominance of one side over the other when responding to specific situations.

The more emotionally charged the experience (usually traumatic) the more likely it will be stored for future reference, and the more likely we will automatically over identify with only one hemisphere when faced with a similar life experience in the future.

Do you recognize some of these common ‘limiting beliefs?’

No matter what I do or how hard I try, it’s never good enough’

‘The decisions I make usually turn out wrong’

‘If people knew the real me, they wouldn’t like me’

‘I blame other (my boss, co-workers, my spouse, etc) for my problems’

‘I shouldn’t try anything new or risky because I’ll probably screw it up’

‘It’s not safe to ask others to help me because I can’t trust them to do the job right’

‘My opinion doesn’t really matter’

‘What I do isn’t really important’

Most of us agree, and behavioural scientists confirm, that our behaviours are a direct reflection of our beliefs, perceptions, and values, generated from experience.

In other words, our beliefs establish the limits of what we can achieve.

The good news is you can change those self-limiting beliefs into self-enhancing ones that help create a new more desirable reality.

Re-scripting limiting subconscious beliefs is like reprogramming a personal computer.

Using PSYCH-K® process, a kind of ‘keyboard’ to your own mind, you can increase cross-talk between the two cortical hemispheres, hereby achieving a more ‘whole-brained’ state, which is ideal for changing subconscious beliefs.

In addition, when right and left hemispheres are in simultaneous communication, the characteristics of both hemispheres are available to maximise your full response potential.

PSYCH-K® helps you quickly and easily communicate directly with your subconscious mind, and-while using methods of whole-brain integration-change old self-limiting beliefs into new self-enhancing ones that support you, in just minutes.
